En el
corazón del barrio del Abasto, en la cortada que lleva
su nombre y donde se encuentra emplazada la única estatua
de la ciudad que lo recuerda, se sitúa la “Esquina
Carlos Gardel”.
El show dura 90 minutos y cuenta con la participación
de 22 personas en escena, entre músicos, bailarines
y cantantes que despliegan su arte en un salón que
recrea un imaginario teatro/cabaret de los años treinta
con el lujo, refinamiento, sofisticación y glamour
de esa época que marcó el ingreso y reinado
del tango en los círculos más selectos de la
sociedad.
The “Carlos Gardel Corner” (esquina
Carlos Gardel) is situated in the heart of the Abasto neighborhood,
right on the passage that carries his name and where it is
erected the only statue of the city placed to remember him.
The show lasts 90 minutes and presents 22 people, among musicians,
dancers and singers who display their art in a scenery that
recreates an imaginary theatre / cabaret of the thirties with
the luxury, enhancement, sophistication and glamour of a time
that marked the entry and reign of the tango in the most select
circles of the society.
